More than 2,500 bulbs were planted in just an hour in Long Sutton. The “mammoth bulb plant” in St Mary’s churchyard, was led by Long Sutton in Bloom with the bulbs funded by the Parish Council. Spalding Christmas Market – scheduled for Sunday (November 29) – has been cancelled due to forecasted high winds. Organisers contacted The Voice at 7pm on Saturday with the news.
