Santa Claus is coming to town

Santa Claus is coming to town courtesy of the Spalding and South Holland Rotary.

And in seeing as many as you as possible, he’s hoping to raise money for charities.
A spokesman for the rotary club said: “We are hoping the weather will be kind to us and we’ll do all we can to provide a bit of seasonal cheer.
“It is especially important for us to raise funds for our continuing charitable activities helping local groups, charities and other good causes, so we have again set up a Text to Donate system.”
To donate text NOEL 3 to 70480 to donate three pounds. Change the 3 to whatever number you wish to donate any other amount e.g. NOEL 1 or NOEL 5 to donate £1 or £5.
Remember you need the bill payer’s permission.
Texts will cost your standard network charge plus the cost of your donation.
“We are always grateful for the support we get from the generous people of Spalding,” the spokesman continued. “There will be few restrictions to our activities on Santa’s travels this year so we will be having more helpers than previous years, and we will be able to knock on doors to accept your donations.
“South Holland Rotarians with Santa and all our helpers are hoping for good weather in December, and we wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Season of Good Will and an especially healthy and successful New Year.
“We thank everyone for their support.”
