Mr Richards (Letters, August 13) accuses me of ‘weaponising the suffering of others’ for political purposes and of being ‘low and grubby’ in respect of our wonderful carers.
I invite any reader who can still access my letter of July 30, to read it again and form their own judgement.
I have, of course, been criticising John Hayes for his persistent voting against the interests of those very people.
I suggest to Mr Richards that if misrepresentation is the only way he can support his cause, it cannot be a very worthy one.
