If Coun Porter really wanted to save some money, he should support a Unitary Authority under Lincolnshire County Council and get rid of district councils.

Mr Porter should also be asked why, when Labour were in power, South Holland council spent money like there was no tomorrow.
When his party got back into government he and the council were able to find many ways to reduce costs.
If it can be done now why wasn’t it done earlier.
