Pupils from Cowbit Primary School are set to make Christmas extra special for those less fortunate than themselves.
For the third year the school has backed the Rotary Club of South Holland’s Showbox Appeal.
The children have filled boxes with gifts for children from poor families in parts of eastern Europe to provide some extra Christmas cheer.
Mrs Jo Drew from the school, said: “The children were very enthusiastic about creating their shoeboxes.
“They were really good to get their parents on board too and they’ve also been very supporting.”
