A17 closed after motorcyclist is seriously injured in collision with vehicle

A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries in an incident involving a car on the A17 at Saracen’s Head this afternoon.

The road is currently closed between Peppermint Roundabout and the junction of Washway Road following the collision between a motorcycle and a Vauxhall Astra reported at 3.07pm today (Monday, April 11).

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The A17 at peppermint roundabout and the junction of Washway Road remains closed while emergency services deal with the incident.

“The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, sustained serious injuries.”
