Jennifer leads the way with score of 77 at Spalding Golf Club’s May Medal

Some 47 members of Spalding Golf Club’s ladies’ section took to the Surfleet course for the May medal, which was run in conjunction with Hills’ Day.

The overall winner and recipient of the medal was Jennifer Pipe on 77.

Hills once again sponsored this event and supplied prizes for both the golf and the raffle, while Angela and David Turner attended to present the prizes.

Results: Category 3 (29 to 36 handicap) – 1st Deborah Ellis 81 (nett); 2nd Linda Prue 86; 3rd Rowena Hughes 86.

Category 2 (21 to 28 handicap) – 1st Sue Dewar 81; 2nd Chris Leggett 81; 3rd Margaret Barkway 82.

Category 1 (0 to 20 handicap) – 1st Claire Rylott 77 (earned a cut in handicap); 2nd Elizabeth Holbrook 79; 3rd Jackie Bailey-Scott 80.
