A woman is critically ill in hospital after her car plunged into a water-filled dyke.
The 21-year-old was trapped in her Renault Clio when it left the road at Ravens Bank in Holbeach St Johns at about 6.45pm on Sunday.
Police and members of the public entered the water to rescue the driver, who is from the Wisbech area.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call the Collision Witness Hotline on 01522 558855 quoting incident 341 of December 27.
