Website launch for Crowland

A new website has been launched in Crowland to let residents know what is going on.
The Everything Crowland site, which can be found at www.crowlandhub.com, has been created from scratch by the Crowland Community Hub team.
Julie Smith, who is involved in the team, said: “In line with our charity status we have learnt how to create a WordPress site ourselves from scratch so as not to spend money on having one done for us.
“It also means we are in control ourselves and can make it a live site with regular posts and updates.
“It now needs promoting to the residents in the area. Some pages are still being constructed and we want to encourage people to come forward with information for the site.”
Crowland Community Hub will also host its first events next month to make use of what was the town’s library building.
These are a cinema night scheduled for April 2, showing the recent release Suffragette, and a Craft Fair for April 3.
