Waterfall takes fifth in Adrian Flux Arena final while Glenns suffers a massive smash

There was another superb night of Banger and Stock Car action at the Adrian Flux Arena on Saturday.

More than 160 cars gathered in the pits on one of the hottest race days of the year, with drivers from across the country coming to race Micro Bangers, Junior Bangers, Ministox and V8 Stock Cars on the King’s Lynn shaleway.

South Holland’s Liam Waterfall (291), one of the top drivers in the Junior Bangers, had a good night despite starting dead last.

He worked his way through to a third place in a preliminary heat race and a respectable fifth in the feature final.

Regan Glenn’s (777) night didn’t last long in the Micro Bangers, as mid-pack bunching in the UK final last chance race saw half the field getting caught up early on.

He suffered worst by half rolling, but the impact in doing so wrote the car off, calling time on the Spalding racer’s night early on.

Next up is Super Stock Car Saturday (5pm) with the BriSCA F2 Stock Cars, 2L Saloons and 1300 Stock Cars, including the class race for the European Championship.

South Holland’s Charley Tomlin (129) is one of the F2 Stock Cars top drivers, along with brothers Jack and Pat Issit who be hoping to be well amongst the action.

In the 2L Saloon Stock Cars, Wes Starmer (525) has been having a good year so far and looking to keep that going this Saturday, while brothers Simon (570) and Rowan (370) Venni are always a good watch.

Not to be left out, Caine Parnell (229) in the 1300 Stock Cars usually picks up some good results.
