Tydd St Giles Golf Club make terrific donation of £2,750 to Addenbrookes’ Neurological Critical Care Unit

Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club raised an amazing £2,750 for their chosen 2016 charity.

The captain’s charity for 2016 was the Neurological Critical Care Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, with events played throughout the year helping raise funds towards the final total.

Tydd club captain Neil John presented the sum to Nicky Newton, the Community Fundraising Manager, last week.

A delighted John said: “I am proud to donate this money from the club on behalf of Mark, Maxine and Lewis Plumb in memory of Nathan Plumb who received care from NCCU in 2016.

“It is always a positive thing to raise money for charity

“But to be able to do so for a charity which helps people in the local community when they need support the most, makes the efforts of the club and its members all that more worthwhile.”
