Turn up and air views on project

The details of a proposed offshore wind farm, part of the infrastructure for which is set to be in South Holland, is to be revealed on October 20.

Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind has announced a series of consultation events regarding its final plans.
The turbines themselves will be 54km off the coast of Skegness.
The electricity is due to go into the main network via a series of underground cables to a substation at either Surfleet or Weston Marsh.
After several previous conversations, Outer Dowsing is yet to say which of the options it prefers.
The plans are due to go live on its website www.outerdowsing.com from October 20 with the consultation open until 11.59pm on Friday, November 24.
They will also be on display in several public buildings including Pinchbeck Community Hub and Library in King Street, Pinchbeck and South Holland District Council’s offices in Priory Road, Spalding, during their usual opening hours.
There will also be several public information days, though none are being held in South Holland.
The nearest to the district takes place in Fosdyke Village Hall from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, October 28.
There will be two online webinar events on the company’s website on Thursday, October 26. They will be from 1pm to 2pm and 7pm to 8pm.
Details of the information events are listed below while full details of the consultation are on page 27 of this paper.
A spokesman for Outer Dowsing Ltd said: “Our next generation offshore wind farm will help form the backbone of the UK’s net-zero energy system, engaging communities, delivering opportunities, and empowering transformational environmental change.”
