Time for popular fayre to return

Holbeach Town and Country Fayre returns this weekend after an enforced four-year break to finally mark it’s quarter of a century anniversary.

The popular event takes place at King’s Field on Fen Road from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday, (June 18 and 19).

It was last held back in 2018 with 2019’s event having been cancelled due to extremely wet weather followed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

There promises to be something for all the family once again with a host of vintage cars, motorcycles and steam engines set to attend.

There will also be plenty of craft stores and games and rides for children.

That’s on top of a large spread of food and drink choices.

From 6.30pm on Saturday there will be bingo in the beer tent and music from BHDC. Everyone is welcome, even if you haven’t been at the daytime event.

Entry is £8 for adults and £5 for OAPs and children under 16. Kids go free with a paying adult.
