Luke Rowell edged to victory in Division One of Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s July Stableford by the narrowest of margins.
His haul of 37 points was the same as second-placed Ian Gerrard, but Rowell took top spot on countback.
The other divisional winners were Vaughan Dibble (D2) and Matthew Prudence (D3).

- Karen Gillett is enjoying something of a purple patch at Sutton Bridge Golf Club at the moment.
The ladies’ section ace topped the leaderboard at both the July Medal and Ladies Cancer Charity event to add two trophies to her cabinet.
Gillett was three points better than anybody else in the Cancer Charity event, scoring an impressive 32 points.
She then stormed to victory in the July Medal, seeing off the advances of Carole Whitelam and Carole Caney to secure top spot.
