The Voice of Spalding and South Holland
April 2 was the culmination of the indoor archery season which saw archers from Spalding’s Silver Spoon Bowmen compete in the Lincolnshire County Indoor Championships hosted by Friskney Bowmen at the Peter Paine Sports Centre in Boston.
The champions from Silver Spoon are:
Ladies’ Recurve Amy Gott, Ladies’ Compound Lynn Fisher, Ladies’ Longbow Ros Lorimer.
Men’s Recurve Sam Newton, Men’s Barebow Ian Macrae.
Junior Ladies’ Recurve Jemima Debney, Junior Men’s Compound Ioan Macrae, Junior Men’s Barebow Hamish Turner.
Three other club members gained Silver, they are Jim Orford, Alice Lorimer and Roger Sale.
