Spalding native Charlotte Taylor finished 27th in the women’s 10,000m final at the IAAF World Championships at London on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Nene Valley Harrier, who is a former Spalding High School pupil, was up against the likes of world record holder Almaz Ayana – who won the gold medal at the Olympic Stadium.
Taylor clocked 32.51.33mins and was the second Team GB runner behind Beth Potter in 21st.
