The Voice of Spalding and South Holland
Spalding Water Polo suffered a 15-10 defeat against Bedford at the Castle Sports Complex last Tuesday night.
Hosts Spalding were very lethargic in the first quarter and almost appeared to be swimming in treacle as Bedford dominated the scoreline and the pool.
They started to make a comeback in the second and third quarters, finally finishing five goals adrift.
However, the damage was done early on and Spalding never recovered.
