A man has been arrested and a police officer injured in an incident in Station Road, Spalding this morning (Friday, July 20).
Inspector Gareth Boxall praised members of the public who helped the officers in the incident which took place just before 9am this morning.
He tweeted: “Several of our officers attended Station St, Spalding just before 9am this morning to a report of a violent man.
“Sorry to say, one of our officers was injured but we have arrested a man in relation to the incident & are grateful to the members of the public who stopped to help.”
