PDFL round-up: Spalding Town outgun Tulips Reserves in derby classic

Goals from Tom Coote, Danny Kingman, Matt Rose and Ash Wilson fired Spalding Town to a 4-3 derby win over Spalding United Reserves on Saturday.

George Stainfield (2) and Rafal Marczewski hit back for the Tulips in the ChromaSport PDFL Division Two clash.

Up in the Premier Division, a late leveller from George Fowler earned Holbeach United Reserves a 1-1 draw at Whittlesey Athletic.

In Division One, Jake Clitheroe scored four more goals as Tydd St Mary walloped hosts Polonia 5-1. He now has 39 in 15 games.

Down in Division Five A, Spalding United A lost 5-1 at Kings Cliffe Reserves.

Helder Lourenco scored and was also sent off for the Tulips.

All of the other games involving South Holland sides were postponed.
