Man £344 out of pocket after cycling in Spalding town centre pedestrianised area

A man has been left £344 out of pocket after cycling in Hall Place in the centre of Spalding.

Zubra Egidijus, 23, of Macarthur Court, Spalding was found to be guilty of wilfully cycling in the pedestrianised area on November 2 in a hearing held at Boston Magistrates Court last week.

Egidijus was fined £220 and magistrates ordered him to also pay £90 costs and a £34 towards victim services to be paid by June 11.

  1. Yes he was wrong, but what is being done about the motorist who access the Market Place as they wish and break the law by driving past the Vehicles Prohibited sign.
