‘LiquidFootball’ lads are looking to sponsor a South Holland side

A popular podcast co-hosted by Pinchbeck’s Jarred Farmer is looking to sponsor a South Holland-based football team.

‘LiquidFootball’ is a collective of football fans who meet up once a week to discuss recent events in the game – be it in Premier League or non-league.

Jarred is joined by friends Danny (from Nottingham) and Kev (Liverpool) on the show.

The guys used to broadcast live on local radio station Peterborough FM, but are now available via a podcast – which can be downloaded from Mixcloud.

They also have a thriving website, www.liquidfootball.fm, which is regularly updated and has featured interviews with the likes of ex-Peterborough United skipper Grant McCann in the past.

This is used as a platform for would-be football-writers to host their work.

The Liquid Football lads are now looking to branch out and get behind a team in the South Holland area, with any clubs interested urged to give them a shout.

Be it sponsoring a kit or just giving the teams in the district a bit of exposure, they are keen to help.

“We’re open to the idea of kit sponsorship,” explained Jarred. “We would also look at other packages on offer.

“We’d also offer regular updates on that specific club on air and on the website, while inviting representatives from the club to join us in the studio to discuss the goings-on at the club.

“Anybody interested can get in touch via our website.

“We are open to helping promote any local clubs, to help in any way we possibly can.

“If they have any news, vacancies or events taking place that they would like any extra promotion for, we’d gladly mention it on the show and on the website.”

The LiquidFootball lads are also hosting a five-a-side football tournament in aid of Callum Pite’s Smile charity. That will be held at the Peterborough Powerleague venue on August 23.

Entry is £5 per player, with teams required to have between seven and nine members in their squad.

The event is currently sponsored by Rusty Relics and Jay Farmer Kitchens and Bathrooms, but other companies can help out with sponsorship from just £20. Anyone interested in playing at or

sponsoring the event can contact the guys at www.liquidfootball.fm, or by email at Jarredfarmer@hotmail.co.uk
