LETTERS – How many times have we heard?

Once again we have Sir John Hayes peddling his urban myth about ‘taking back control of our borders’. How many times have we heard it?

It’s up there with Elvis is alive and well and working in a chip shop in Hull and Coventry City is a world class football club (okay, I invented that one).

While taking on extra jobs as an MP to pocket the wonga is an absolute disgrace. If you have so much spare time on your hands Sir John why not use your…err…undoubted skills to volunteer in a care home or help with litter picking?
