LETTERS – Get Brexit done

Many of your readers will be aware that I was the Vote Leave Constituency Coordinator for our area – South Holland and The Deepings – and more recently held the same post with the Brexit Party.

I am sure all of you who helped Vote Leave win in 2016, and the Brexit Party win this year, are asking yourself: what should I do to ensure we leave the EU in the best way possible?

This is my answer to that question… To restore trust in our democracy – and release this great nation’s full potential by getting Brexit done – both Vote Leave and the Brexit Party are calling on you to vote for your Conservative Candidate, Sir John Hayes on Thursday December 12.

John Hayes is a lifelong Brexiteer who has campaigned alongside me under the Vote Leave banner, and I know – just like Boris and his team – he is determined to deliver Brexit so we can all move on and reap the many benefits of leaving the EU.

Boris’ deal delivers the Brexit we voted for in 2016. I have read the document from cover to cover and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

It allows our great nation to ‘take back control of our laws, borders and economy’ and that is why Vote Leave and the Brexit Party are endorsing this deal.

It is good for our democracy, our economy and the British people. That is why – not just in our area – we must all unite to deliver a Conservative majority in Parliament.

If Boris doesn’t get a majority, then Jeremy Corbyn will take control of No10 on Friday December 13 propped up by Nicola Sturgeon’s Scottish National Party.

And if this Corbyn-Sturgeon coalition of chaos succeeds they are planning to give millions of EU and non-EU citizens the vote in a second referendum that will be even more divisive and bitter than the first.

The establishment is not planning to lose again, and they have literally written into their manifestos that they will rig a second referendum.

Apart from giving millions of foreign citizens the vote, they will also cheat the question so the ‘choice’ is effectively ‘Remain or Remain’.

They will use every trick in the book to thwart the democratic will of the British people. 

If MPs get away with cheating the biggest democratic exercise in our history, why would they ever respect any democratic vote?

They will do anything to stop you, normal voters, from taking back control of them. Our Parliament only governs with the consent of the people.

Please talk to your friends and family – if they believe in democracy and Britain’s right to survive as an independent, self-governing nation – ask them to vote Conservative on December 12 where they live as well.
