I write this with a heavy heart.
I am saddened to hear of the passing of a dear friend of mine, Douglas Hern.
He was a real inspiration and mentor to me in my own fundraising efforts.
He worked tirelessly to campaign for recognition of the nuclear test veterans for so many years.
His passing will leave a big hole to many but his legacy will live on.
