History-making Pinchbeck United looking forward to Shepshed Dynamo clash

After Wednesday night’s 1-0 defeat at Boston Town, Pinchbeck United now turn their attention to Saturday’s FA Cup game at Step 4 side Shepshed Dynamo (3pm).

Knights boss Lewis Thorogood is looking forward to the Butthole Lane clash and insists that there is absolutely no pressure on his side against the Pitching In NPL Midlands Division side.

“As far as we’re concerned we’ve already achieved our objective in the FA Cup this year,” said the boss.

“We wanted that first win in the competition and we’ve got it.

“It’s a game for everyone at the club to enjoy and whatever happens on the day, happens.

“Usually, you’d expect the Step Four team to win this kind of tie, but who knows? We’ll go there full of confidence and are certainly capable of getting a result.”

Meanwhile, the Knights have been given a bye through to the quarter-finals of the Lincs FA Senior Trophy.
