The Voice of Spalding and South Holland
A great afternoon of tennis at Spalding Tennis Club for the annual Chairman’s Cup which saw Ben and Martin Brittain lift the men’s trophy and Gill Williams lift the ladies’ trophy.
Both trophies were presented by Lincolnshire Tennis chairman John Copsey.
After four hours of tennis with 33 players and spectators, Williams won the ladies’ trophy and Ben and Martin Brittain overcame Ian and Chris Argent in an hour-long final finishing 6-4 to the Brittains.
