Flu campaign under way and new defibrillator at Spalding medical centre

Munro Medical Centre is taking bookings for free flu protection.

The sessions are at its Spalding surgery this Saturday (October 3) and Saturday, October 17, and at the Church Walk branch in Pinchbeck on Wednesday, October 14.
Patients considered at risk of flu include all aged 65 years and over, people living in residential care, main carers of the elderly or disabled and children aged two to four.

Meanwhile, the practice has a new defibrillator.
A spokesman said: “After the success of last year’s flu campaign and the support of our patients and staff £1,085 was raised from donations, raffle, refreshments etc and we are delighted to have been able to replace and update our defibrillator.”
