Ella’s Syrian Appeal is a spin-off from Ella’s Project, which will continue to find homes for good quality, clean clothes for children aged 0-5 years. Ella is the Le Sages’ two-year-old daughter.

South Holland district councillor Jack McLean (Spalding St John’s ward) has donated £150 to Ella’s Project and said: “As a charity heavily connected with my ward I feel immensely grateful for their hard work in the town and I will do all I can to ensure they are able to maintain that hard work.
“I am aware of certain running costs that will soon see through the money I have provided from the ward budget, but we are both looking to work together in other ways as well.”
