Crowland win thriller to maintain fine start

The only team with a 100 per cent record in the Peterborough and District League Premier Division are Crowland Town after they came from 3-0 down to beat Netherton United with a last minute 4-3 win.
In an incredible game the visitors ended up with nine men with one of their players being given two red cards.
Crowland had pulled it back to 3-1 when Charlie Amato was sent off for two yellow cards before Liam Taylor also saw red while three players were sin-binned at different times.
Crowland even missed a penalty but Harry Grigas, Samuel Leggatt, Archie Rickards and Matthew Smith earned them a fourth win out of four.
Amato was shown a second red card of the day after the final whistle.
Also on four wins are Moulton Harrox, a Louis Steadman goal enough to give them a 1-0 victory at home to Leverington Sports on Tuesday night.
At the other end of the table, Holbeach United Reserves picked up their first win of the season to leave Tydd still searching for their first point.
Two goals in five minutes starting in the 52nd minute from Kieron McConnell and Jordan Keeble gave Holbeach the advantage.
Brandon Harker halved the deficit for Tydd on 70 minutes but with five minutes left Arron Pike sealed it before Sam Cooper’s late goal made it 3-2.
In Division One there was a first win of the season for Long Sutton Athletic with Jack Baker scoring the only goal in their 1-0 win over Glinton and Northborough.
Holbeach United Sports are going well and they won 5-2 at home to Wittering Premiair through a Bradleigh Appleby double and goals from Connor Bell, Cameron Lee and Daniel Prince.
Sutton Bridge United are two from two in Division Two, Ben Partridge with two and Matt Eaton one in a 3-2 win at home to Deeping United Reserves.
Whaplode Drove Rovers were 2-0 winners at home to Warboys courtesy of Sam Moakes and Michael Mcgowen while Tydd Reserves lost 5-1 at home to FC Hampton, Ricky Holstead with the consolation.
Long Sutton Reserves lost a 10-goal thriller 6-4 at Ketton, despite a Simon Adcock brace and goals from Adam Crane and Rowen Smith.
