Moulton Harrox finish the season as the highest-ranked South Holland side in the South Lincs and Border League after a seven-wicket Premier Division victory over Billingborough on Saturday.
The hosts won the toss and decided to have a bat, but Harrox bowled them out for 143 in 43.4 overs with Travis Harrison taking 4-31.
Moulton then breezed to 144-3 in 31.1 overs as Matt Barnett (73 not out) and Matt Rose (34 not out) shared an unbeaten 73 stand for the fourth wicket.
Dylan Garfoot (29) and Barriey Light (25) top scored for Billingborough as they struggled with the bat.
Harrox chipped away at their order nicely and Harrison’s exploits were backed up by Alex Baker (3-24), Harry Lovell (2-14) and Lee Eyett (1-40).
Harrox lost Eyett (5) early on, but Barnett and Josh Newton (24) moved the score on to 70 before the latter fell.
Harrison followed for a five-ball duck, but Barnett and Rose were in no mood to see the innings collapse.
Opener Barnett made 13 fours in his unbeaten 102-ball knock, while Rose found the boundary seven times in his attacking 33-ball innings.
That victory ensured that Moulton finish sixth in the table, one place above Long Sutton – who were also victorious on the final day of the campaign.
Indeed, they chased down a target of 229-6 posted by hosts Market Deeping 2nd at Outgang Road.
Veteran skipper Dave Gillett (64 not out), Richard Pickering (47) and Chris Jones (45) all scored handsomely for the hosts, leaving Sutton a testing target.
However, Paul Edgeller (76 not out) and skipper Jake Burton (66) enjoyed great knocks of their own to steer Sutton to an impressive 230-3 from just 33.5 overs.
Sutton worked well as a bowling unit, with three players taking two wickets apiece to keep Deeping in check.
Dan Plant (2-61), Burton (2-41) and Charlie Crisp (2-57) all impressed, giving Sutton every chance of finishing with a flourish.
And that they did, despite losing opener Calvin Bird for a duck first up.
Burton and Dan Oldfield (32) built the foundations for the success before the latter was bowled by Mehul Adatia (1-39).
Edgeller and Burton then pushed Sutton forward before the skipper was out caught and bowled by Simon Caplick (1-11) having passed his half-century.
That left Dom Clay (9 not out) to join Edgeller to secure the success, ensuring they took seventh in the final table.
In Division One, Moulton Harrox 2nd finished as runners-up, while Spalding 2nd finish the campaign rooted to the bottom. Both had already finished their seasons the previous week.
In Division Two, Long Sutton 2nd end up in third, while Spalding 3rd still have a trip to champions Skegness 3rd to come on Saturday (noon).
