Consti E fall to third after 4-2 home loss

Consti E have fallen to third place in Division One of the Spalding and District Snooker League after going down 4-2 at home.

The team, who were top of the league last week, lost to Boundary A, who jump a place to fifth.
Bourne SC B have taken the top spot after beating Donington C 4-2.
A win from Jake Mitchell (O28), including a 23 break, and two victories from Gary Surridge (O7) over Mick Pearl (O21) and Shaun Pickering (R7) helped Bourne to success.
Services C are second after a 4-2 win over Pyramid A.
Wins for the home team came from Nigel Cherry (O7), Geoff Hemsil (R21) and Mark Spiller (scr), while Matthew Chapman (O7) and John Twell (O14) got wins for Pyramid.
Bourne SC A have retained fourth place after beating Holbeach A 4-2. Ian Clare (scr), Mark Gray (O105) and Mike Byrne won for the home team.
In a bottom of the league clash Sutton Bridge A got the better of Bourne Pyramid D, winning 4-2.
Wins from Carl Parnell (O28), Tom Horspool (O49) and Wayne Howard (O21) gave Bridge four vital points.
Horspool bagged a 50 break during his frame.
James Sharpe (O42), who got a 46 break, and Josh Agger (O7) were the winners for Pyramid.
Holbeach C had a good win at home, beating Services A 5-1.
Nick Edwards (scr) lost the first frame to Vince Fitter (O28) before team-mates Terry West (R14), Denis Hix (R7), Mark Gregory (O35) and Paul Ashton (R14) got the wins.
It’s as you were at the top of Division Two with Services D, Holbeach F and Consti G all staying in place.
Services D and Holbeach F held on to first and second places despite both losing 5-1.
Services lost at home to Consti B, while Holbeach went down away at Services E.
Jake Haslam (scr) was the lone winner for Services D with Steve Spencer (R21), John Christian (R7), John Keeton (O7) and Mick Johnson (O35) all winning for Consti.
Gosberton D took full advantage of Division Three leaders Whittlesey C’s free week with a 6-0 win over Whittlesey A.
The whitewash puts Gosberton above Whittlesey C, but they have played two games more.
Whittlesey B have boosted themselves two places off the bottom of the table with a 4-2 win at home to Consti A.
Michael Foster (O21) beat Martyn Johnson (R21), Kerry Skutela (R28) won against Peter Law (R14) and Pawel Skutela (R7) beat Nigel Steadman (scr) to secure the win.
Consti C saw off Gosberton B 5-1. Mark Craig (R21) was the only loser for Consti, as Mick Peet (R28), Pat Bowman (R28), John Walker (R21) and Kevin Sweeney (R7) got the points.
Donington B had a 5-1 win over friendly foes Donington D, while Pyramid E had a 4-2 victory at home to Gosberton C.

Gosberton B have held on to their lead at the top of the Spalding and District Billiards League with a perfect 7-0 win over Pyramid B.
Holbeach B remain second after a 5-2 win.
