A cheque for the grand sum of £3,011 was presented to a representative from Tonic Health by the Lady Captain of Spalding Golf Club, Jean Wilkinson at the Ladies’ Section AGM on October 5.
Jean said that she was absolutely delighted by the amount raised during her year as Lady Captain for this very worthwhile local charity, all due to the generosity of club members and visitors.
The money was raised through raffles, a silent auction, book and clothes sales.
Tonic Health supports local people by offering workshops for people with dementia, learning disabilities and retired veterans.
