Businesses are urged to consider grants

Businesses in South Holland can still access a £1 million pot of cash to help them grow.

The Grants4Growth scheme delivered by South Holland District Council has already provided more than £375,000 worth of funding to over 50 companies in the district. More businesses are now being urged to apply for grants.

These range between £1,000 and £25,000 available for capital assets to eligible companies which can demonstrate the potential for growth.

Abbey Print Ltd, based in Spalding, is one of several local businesses to have already benefited from the European Regional Development Fund.

With its grant the company has purchased a new printer to satisfy clients’ needs for a larger print format.

The new addition has enabled Abbey Print to significantly increase both its capacity and efficiency and also meet increases in demand from its customers.

Helen Slinger from Abbey Print said: “We found the Grants4Growth scheme so simple to use and the process wasn’t daunting at all. Any queries I had were answered straight away. I’d use the scheme again.”

If you would like to find out if your business is eligible for a grant, visit grants4growth.sholland.gov.uk or email grants4growth@sholland.gov.uk for more information.
Grants from the scheme, which is part of the Lincolnshire Growth Hub, would need to be spent by June 2019.
