A local charity champion has raised yet another significant sum for a local organisation.
The latest of Phyllis Harris’s bingo nights at Whaplode Village Hall provided a boost for the running of the hall.
Players helped raise £170 for the hall at the recent event.
Phyllis said: “Whaplode Village Hall is classed as as a charity as it has to pay for everything itself.
“Any money raised is greatly received to help with funding.”
The next bingo night is Friday, March 16 and it’s a special Easter night where the players will be raising money for the charity Age UK.
Eyes down at Whaplode Village Hall is at 7pm.
