Awesome foursome scramble to victory at Gedney Hill event

The fantastic foursome of Luke Chilvers, Glen Chilvers, Jack Chilvers and Ben Coddington won Gedney Hill Golf Club’s Texas Scramble Open event.
Some 19 teams took part, with ‘away’ quartets from as far away as Grimsby involved.

Men’s section: Greenkeepers Open – 1st Adrian Bishop 43pts; 2nd Stuart Turnell 41pts; 3rd Chris Blakey 39pts.

October Medal – 1st James Smith 70; 2nd Nick Markillie 73; 3rd Chris Gilbert 79.

Seniors’ section: Golden Oldies – 1st Steve Sayer 69; 2nd Keith Cooper 70; 3rd Rob Newns 71.

R&S Trophy – 1st Keith Cooper 37pts; 2nd Rob Newns 36pts; 3rd Merv Davies 34pts.

Ladies’ section: Autumn Cup – 1st Chris Bennett 21pts; 2nd Christine Lord 17.
