Lack of maintenance to electricity supply causes house to be destroyed in blaze

A house in Holbeach Fen was totally destroyed by fire. A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said the property in Hurdletree Bank had been empty for some time but the electricity supply was live and a system deterioration caused the blaze.
