The Voice of Spalding and South Holland
Jacquie Clare was the winner of Spalding Golf Club’s Hazel Peck Trophy with an impressive haul of 36 Stableford points.
Held in conjunction with the annual Turkey Trot competition at the Surfleet course, Clare took top spot by a single point.
Nine other ladies won vouchers with Stableford points ranging from 35 to 31. They were Angela Roper, Maureen Orwell, Anita Cross, Beryl Clay, Sally West, Jean White, Paula Brown, Jean Wilkinson and Sue Matthews.
Other winners: Tomlinson Order of Merit – Jenny Van Gemeren.Birdy Tree (handicaps 0-20) – Angela Roper. Par Bar (handicaps (21-36) – Sue Matthews. English Golf Union Medal for the four best medal scores – Eden Inglis. Handicap Cup (for the greatest decrease in handicap during the year) – Eden Inglis (from 26 to 19).
