Spalding’s Macular Society group raising awareness of eye disease

Spalding support group of the Macular Society raised awareness of eye disease and its work to help sufferers with its annual stall on the market.

Members gave information and fundraised with a tombola in a venture supported by Hall Place family-run optician Molsoms and Associates.

Andy Molsom received the Macular Society Award for Excellence in 2013 and 2015 and gave a talk to the Spalding branch on Tuesday.(Sep 13)

Macular Society is the national charity for anyone affected by central vision loss. The Spalding group meets on the second Tuesday each month (1.30pm-3.30pm) at the Methodist Church Hall in St Thomas’s Road.
