Arrest warrant issued for Moulton woman accused of theft from Spalding pensioner

An arrest warrant has been issued to secure the attendance of a Moulton woman at court.

Maria Pridmore (35) was due to attend Lincoln Crown Court on Wednesday (November 25) for a plea and case management hearing, but her legal team told the court that she said she was not fit to attend.
Pridmore, of West Cobgate, is charged with the theft of a bank card belonging to Spalding pensioner Angela Bird on May 28 this year. She also faces two charges of fraud by false representation.

It is alleged Pridmore used the bank card and PIN to obtain £250 from an ATM cash machine on May 28 this year. Pridmore is then alleged to have used the bank card and PIN to obtain £300 from an ATM cash machine the following day.
Andrea Clarke, defending, told the court there had been contact with her client who said she may need hospital treatment. Miss Clarke said a police officer had also attended Pridmore’s home to verify the claim.

Recorder Peter Cooke issued a warrant for Pridmore to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on December 4.
Pridmore was previously granted bail on condition that she does not contact Mrs Bird or go to Woolram Wygate in Spalding.
