Malcolm Stead and Lorraine Gallie were the winners of Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s mixed winter league final 2018/2019.
They edged Frank Young and Petra Meir into second after being among the four qualifiers for the final following the season.
In third was Ady Bills and Maria Taylor-Vassall.
The nearest to the pin winners for the ladies were Exley (fourth hole), Meir (16th hole) while Stead won both men competitions played on the eigth and 11th hole.
Due to their success, further competitions, including friendlies and a knockout cup, will run later in the year.
A raffle held for the ladies club captain’s charity of Diabetes UK raised £165.
