South View hits the right note

South View Community Primary School in Crowland has been named Primary Music Department of 2018 by Lincolnshire Music Education Hub.

They were presented with their award in a ceremony at Stoke Rochford Hall near Grantham.

It was made in recognition of the number of high quality musical experiences that have been made available to the pupils of South View Community Primary School.

These have included the recent Singsation project lead by Lincolnshire Music Service and the school which brought together children from across South Lincolnshire to work with internationally acclaimed conductor David Lawrence.

In naming South View as award winners for 2018, Lincolnshire County Council’s senior music advisor Jennifer McKie described the school as “being committed to offering high quality and inclusive musical experiences to all children”.
