Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Spalding.
It happened just after 1am on Sunday (Sept 7) as the 26 year-old victim was walking home in the Pennygate area. He was attacked from behind and punched in the face.
He suffered bruising and cuts to his face and received treatment at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston.
