Gedney Hill Golf Club pair set for two regional finals within the space of a week

Two Gedney Hill Golf Club members have qualified for the Regional Finals of the League to Dubai and the Morocco Matchplay Championship.

David Lord and Rob Newns will be at Tudor Park in Kent for the League to Dubai regionals on Monday, October 17.

Before then, the Gedney Hill pair will contest the Moroccan Matchplay regional at Slaley Hall, Newcastle, on Monday.

Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s Ladies’ Game Birds competition attracted 68 players and raised £466 for The Teenage Cancer Trust at Addenbrookes Hospital – the chosen charity of captain Lin Walker.
