Crowland’s Callum plays his part in Adrian Flux Arena’s best night of year

Saturday night’s hard-hitting night of banger and stock car action at the King’s Lynn Adrian Flux Arena is being widely-regarded as one of the best meetings this year.

There was a great mix of wrecking and racing on track, while there was also some huge banger wrecks that went home.

Crowland’s Callum White was in his usual mood. A smartly presented Volvo started the night, but that’s not how it went home.

White is always involved in entertaining the supporters – and it was a big crowd on Saturday.

Unfortunately for him, no results fell his way – but that’s to be expected with his wrecking instead taking the headlines.

Bank Holiday Monday (1pm start) is Crash for Cancer day, with the meet raising money for ‘The Big C’ – a Norfolk-based charity helping people affected by cancer.

This event has been huge over the last few years, raising lots of money in the process.

There’s another exciting and entertaining day of action on the cards, with the always impressive Big Van Bangers among the highlights.

They are hugely popular and a crowd favourite.

The 2Litre Bangers will also be in no holds barred banger action, again in good numbers.

And, to keeps things interesting, the superb Reliant Robins are also out on track.

The three-wheeled machines will be trying to race at speed, but when they roll, they will roll in a big way.

There will be plenty of South Holland interest, headlined by Spalding-based banger racing legend Mick Ivatt who makes his annual appearance in the Big Van Bangers.

A prolific racer in the 1980s and 1990s, he claimed many titles in East Anglia.

His annual van banger outing is always a highlight of the year.

The same can be said of Ross Coleman, who is well known for racing something different and it’s always immaculate.

Fans will be keen to see what the Spalding racer is bringing this year.

Full event details can be found on the website www.stockcar-racing.co.uk with fans advised to check before travelling for race day updates.

Family tickets are available, with kids aged up to 11 years old going free.

There will also be a free kids fun fair ride and free face painting on the day.
