Young cyclist injured on way to school after collision involving car

A young boy was injured after his bike was involved in a collision with a vehicle while on his way to school in Spalding this morning (Wednesday, October 13).

The incident took place on Halmergate at around 8.30am and involved a Black Audi A3.

Thankfully Lincolnshire Police said the young boy was not seriously injured.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “The pedal cyclist, a young boy, was on his way to school and received only minor injuries.  He did not require a hospital visit.”
