A survival lesson from the best

Youngsters from Spalding, Holbeach and Pinchbeck had a survival lesson from the master when they met Bear Grylls at an adventure day.

The 130 beavers, cubs and scouts from South Holland met the survival expert who has recently been re-appointed as Chief Scout, at the event at Burghley House, near Stamford.

There were among 1,400 young people from across the county who took part in a range of exciting activities including quad biking, water zorbing and climbing.
