Pupils at Ayscoughfee Hall School in Spalding have been learning about all things Greek during a special day. The children all got dressed up in traditional Greek clothing including togas and head-dresses and set about making shields, spears and clay pots.

A Spalding primary school has launched a breakfast club for its youngest students. Monkshouse Primary School already has a breakfast drop-in session established for Key Stage 2 pupils and has now extended the provision. Youngsters at Monkshouse Primary School have been learning all about the Egyptian way of life. Pupils at the Spalding primary school took part in a banquet, each playing various roles from the pharaoh and his queen to slaves. The children put on entertainment for the pharaoh while slaves served him food.

Youngsters enjoyed a very special storytime session thanks to a fairytale visitor. Snow White dropped in to read stories to the children at Spalding Primary School this week.
