A woman who beat cervical cancer in just six months has raised £2,555 to say thanks for the support she received. Mandy Chillingworth was diagnosed with cancer on May 15 last year and was told she would need 12 weeks of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy at Peterborough City Hospital. Two charities have benefited from a fashion show held at a Spalding shop. Beales Department Store in Market Place hosted the fashion show, in conjunction with Weight Watchers, back in October.
