Bakkavor

Bakkavor believes there are many individuals in South Holland who are voluntarily making a positive difference to their local communities but often do not realise how great their achievements are, and are often not recognised for the work they carry out. These individuals are positive role models to be proud of and Bakkavor is therefore delighted to sponsor this award.

Bakkavor employs over 4,000 people across the South Holland region with its largest sites based at Spalding, Holbeach and Sutton Bridge.

As a group we support causes close to where we operate such as schools, community groups, sports clubs and charities, donating close to £150,000 to these causes in 2014. We also recognise and reward our people for the work they carry out in this area through our annual Group Responsibility Awards.

We operate in the fast moving fresh prepared foods market, manufacturing foods such as chilled ready meals, pizzas, desserts, salads, soups and dips. We have been making fresh prepared foods for over 40 years, supplying all the major grocery retailers in the UK with products marketed under their own labels.
