With continued rainfall causing more problems, South Holland District Council has urged people to wear “adequate footwear”. A 12-year-old boy has had his bike stolen in Spalding. Police said the boy’s red/orange Carerra Hellcat junior bike was stolen from an alleyway on High Street at 3.20pm. Flood water reaches homes on closed Holbeach road

Flood water has reached houses along Edinburgh Walk in Holbeach and police have closed the road at both ends. The road was closed on Tuesday after flooding and a fire crew spent hours on Tuesday evening pumping water. After last night’s rainfall, which has continued today, the road is again flooded and homes are affected.
